I've followed instructions found online to activate mackie emulation on the nanoKontrol2, and set it up as a Mackie device in both Premiere and Audition. When I adjust them individually, the keyframes look much smoother. When I adjust two tracks at the same time (for example, raising the volume of one while lowering another) the keyframes become very stair-stepped, and there are huge jumps in the volume. However, I've noticed a problem-it looks like I cannot smoothly send two signals simultaneously to Premiere or Audition. One of the biggest appeals to me of using a control surface instead of the mouse is the ability to adjust more than one track at a time, ideally saving time by not looping to the same spot multiple times. I purchased a nanoKontrol2 from Korg to be a portable controller for Premiere and Audition. Here is one of the files frozen while saving metadata: Here is a screenshot of what happens when I try to save: I am on Windows 8, using Adobe Audition CC 2014.1 Build 7.1.0.119. I would greatly appreciate any suggested solutions. Regardless, I need to find a way to save my project before force quitting the program.

I'm assuming the issue is that Audition can only process so many files at once, so it won't save or export while the other files are processing. I woke up this morning to check the progress and all files are still at 66% with the remaining time increasing rather than decreasing. Only one of the files stopped saving, and the other three are stuck at 66% no matter what I do. I tried to end the processes, which were saving metadata for recorded files. I noticed that there were 4 files processing according to the status bar at the bottom of the program. I wanted to restart the program to see if that would fix the issue, so I attempted to save the multitrack session, but it still froze at 0%. When I checked on the export process after a few minutes, it was stuck at 0%. I finished a project in Audition last night and went to export it.
